Corrections Policy
Every article carries a corrections line, whether or not a correction exists, so that the practice of correcting errors stays visible and normal rather than something we do quietly and hope no one notices.
How we correct errors
When we get something wrong, we say so, on the article itself, in plain language, dated. Factual errors are corrected regardless of size. Substantial corrections are noted with what was wrong and what the correct information is; minor corrections (spelling, formatting) may be fixed silently.
How to report an error
Use the "Report an error" link on any article, or contact us directly — see the Contact page. Include the article URL and, if possible, a source for the correction.
Corrections log
No corrections have been logged yet. When a correction is published, it will be listed here with the date, the article, and a summary of the change.
