Residents Of The Village of Ovchikal’acha Were Provided with Free Medical Care
In the rural jamoat of Ovchikal’ach, Bobojon, Gafurov district, a “Health Caravan” was held . Specialists examined more than 180 residents , Azam Vakhkhobov , a Caravan of Health representative in the Sughd region, told Asia-Plus .
According to him, the residents were examined by a general practitioner, a gynecologist, a cardiologist, an ophthalmologist and an ENT specialist.
“Caravan of health” is not the first time visits the cities and towns of the Sughd region. In the coming days, a trip to the Devashtich region is planned,” he said.
Over the past seven months of 2022, the Health Caravan visited 15 cities and districts of the Sughd region and conducted free medical examinations of residents.
Also, within the framework of the Health Caravan project implemented by the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan, the hospital named after. M. Kutfiddinov in Sogd, two mobile medical and diagnostic complexes were transferred.
They have the necessary equipment, including X-ray, laboratory diagnostics, dentistry, a cardiorecorder, ultrasound, an ophthalmoscope, an otoscope, a colposcope.
