Russian Armed Forces are Trying to Surround Avdiivka From Two Sides
Russian units are using all available weapons to liberate the city, Ukrainian mayor of Avdiivka Vitaliy Barabash said.
The Russian army stepped up the onslaught in the Avdeevsky direction. All last night, the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were subjected to fierce attacks, Ukrainian media quoted Barabash as saying.
According to the official, Russian units are using all available weapons to liberate the city. Tanks, mortars and artillery are used, air raids and missile strikes are carried out several times a day.
Every day, dozens of assault actions are carried out against the positions of Ukrainian militants, the mayor noted.
